My fiancé and I are getting married in a little over a month(!!!!). We’ll be going to the courthouse on a Friday in April with our dear friend Poupay who is an amazing photographer, plus my brother Kenn (psst. you should all check out his artwork) & our dog Bó as our witnesses. After that, we’ll head to a steakhouse nearby to celebrate then get a good rest before we fly off to our minimoon the following day.

Since it’s not a very traditional wedding, we won’t have a wedding registry or similar, so I’ve decided to pull together a dream one. Some of the items are realistic, but some of them only exist in a world wherein we’re both trust fund babies and spending north of $1k on a pig shaped trunk or two egg cups sounds normal.
Large Wicker Pig-Form Trunk from Iris Apfel’s Estate - cost unknown, bidding still on!

For some reason, my gut tells me to keep bidding on this until I win. It’s already over $1,000 after fees and tax, and there’ still two days to go. It’s irresponsible (I am in a lot of debt for this exact reason), but I do think owning this large pig trunk by Mario Lopez Torres will counteract any anxiety I feel about money. I can fill it with cash so I have something to show for when the banks start to crash!
Gourmet "Trio Plates" by Jean Marc Gady - cost unknown, bidding still on!

Aaron didn’t quite get this one, and that’s ok. I’m not someone who doesn’t like my food to touch, but I think this can be practical for other reasons. Think: appetizer, dinner, dessert—all served at once. Think: perfect plates to make a funny face. The possibilities are endless. I am going to win these so please don’t bid against me.
Fluffy Wool Blanket - $62+

This beautiful blanket comes from Etsy & is made in Ukraine (I would not blame this seller if they’re not interested in selling to America at the moment…). We do not need more throw blankets, but we want more throw blankets and I think this one will have to be next.
A Piece of Artwork - $$$ depends!
Shaina McCoy is one of my favorite artists. If I were to invest in a piece of artwork (after making a big purchase from my brother) I’d go to her first (then Jean-François Le Minh). McCoy captures nostalgia so beautifully and I love everything she does. I’m not sure artwork belongs on a wedding registry, alas…
A Fun Tissue Box Holder - $168
We’ve never been a tissue box house until recently; I got sick and Aaron made a bulk purchase of a bunch of tissues boxes and now they are lying around everywhere… I hate them! Of course they’re useful, but we don’t go through them quickly enough to get them out of the way. I need something fun to cover them up, and this Susan Alexandra tissue box is at the top of my list.
Marni x Serax Serving Plate (or really anything from this collection) - $225

No explanation needed!
Lori Stern Tulip Flatware Set - $38
This is not all I want from Lori Stern. Please consider:
Honesty… everything :)
Three-arm Ceramic Candle Holder from Ceramiche De Simone - $215
Artemest is a magical place that highlights Italian craftsmanship and design. If you like to spend a lot of time scrolling, you will immediately find 100 of the coolest sculptures and ceramic pieces you have ever seen flipping through this website. This candelabra is crazy. I love it.
Wrought-Iron Banana Tree from Gohar World - $142
Of all the things to choose from Gohar World, this seems like a boring and somewhat odd choice—but we have not figured out the banana situation in our home. We have a few HAY Panier Storage Baskets, but they’re not quite right. I like that this is simple (and handmade in Cairo!), I don’t like that it’s $142—but again, this list is only a dream.
Peas in a Pod Pillow from John Derian - $85
This feels very romantic in a way if we imagine we are the two peas in a pod.
The Pedus Double Bed by Frank Oelke - $30,000
I wake up thinking about this bed and I go to sleep thinking about this bed—so you can imagine my surprise when I went to the very iconic WSA office building a few weeks ago for a meeting and saw this in the lobby. Half of me wanted to cancel our honeymoon and ask if we could spend 6 nights sleeping in the lobby and seven days roaming around the office. For the reasonable price of $30,000, this bed could be ours. All we’d need to do is pay another $6,351.51 to get it shipped from Italy, which in the grand scheme of things is nothing. If anyone knows someone at WSA who would let us pretend we own this thing for a day or two, I’d be forever indebted to you.
I’m obsessed with the wool blanket
